Summary: Martine and Marcel were so welcoming and gave us so much information about the nearby places to visit. Semussac is a quiet area but you are never too far from local amenities, beautiful beaches and gorgeous country walks. We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 13, 12 and 6. We visited the nearby beaches in Royan, la Palmyre and St. Georges de Didionne. We also visited Talmont sur Gironde, a really beautiful town. The Zoo in Palmyre is amazing! The town of Jonzac is around 40 minutes away and is a beautiful typically French town. When we arrived we immediately felt relaxed. The property is stunningly beautiful. Very clean and well maintained with total privacy. We all loved the pool and the children spent so much time there. Lovely area to eat outside with awning so plenty of shade from the sunshine! We have stayed in many different properties before in France and this was by far our favourite! We didn’t want to leave! Martine and Marcel are fantastic hosts. Thank you both for everything.
